In Barnstable County there are 23,450 individuals who struggle with food insecurity, according to Feeding America’s 2023 Map the Meal Gap study. 

 

The Cape Cod Community Pantry is a 100% all volunteer operation so community support is a bedrock of our impact and success. ​​​

We couldn’t do it without YOU

To date, we have more than 12,000 registered clients who we could not have helped if it weren’t for our generous donors and all-volunteer staff. Because of their time, care and donations, those most in need in our community have a place to go when they have  trouble putting food on the table.

Ways to Support the Cape Cod Community Pantry

  • Grants given by charitable foundations OR Community Investment Grants  

  • Monetary donations from generous individuals and organizations

  • Annual Turkey Shoot Golf Tournament in November.

 
Monetary donations are critical by allowing us to increase the pantry’s purchasing power.
 
Thanks to your generous donations, the Pantry is able to purchase food at reduced prices through the Boston Greater Food Bank.

Annual Turkey Shoot Golf Tournament in November

On the first Sunday in November, the pantry holds a golf tournament at Bass River Golf Course. 

This fundraiser is open to all golfers.

Food Donation​

  • Attention home gardeners! We would love your extra produce! Have extra veggies or herbs in your garden? Drop them off any time during our weekly food donation hours! Consider planting a row in your garden just for the Pantry! â€‹

Nourishing the Community.

The Cape Cod Community Pantry simply could not operate without our dedicated all-volunteer staff.  We are grateful for each and every one of our more than 100 volunteers. Whether you have just a small amount of time or a lot of time to donate, we have volunteer opportunities to fit any schedule.
